Dude, this is what the Army is like? Weird...

So i did a little bit of reasearch, and have come to the conclusion that it is better to drink Budweiser than it is to drink Coca Cola.

Here is why;

A can of Coke has 140 Calories.
50mg of Sodium
39G Total Carb
39g Sugars

A Can of Bud has 143 Calories.
10.5g Total Carb
1.3G Protein

Coke is made of Carbonated Water, High Fructose Corn Syrup, Carmel Color, Phosphoric Acid, Natural Flavors, and Caffeine.

Bud is Made of rice, barley malt, water, hops and yeast.

So basically, Bud has Slightly More Calories if you chew a peice of sugar free gum while drinking you can negate those 3 extra calories. Bud has less than a third of the carbs of Coke, and none of the sugar. So not only do you not get as fat, but you dont rot your teeth out as much either. Heres the kicker, Bud has Protein, therefore it constitutes a growth of muscle.

Now if we look at the ingredients that is enough to make me want to drink bud over coke. According to Wikipedia "There is a correlation between the rise of obesity in the U.S. and the use of HFCS for sweetening beverages.." Yeah, sure dont want that stuff. Oh, also Phosphoric Acid? Once again "Phosphoric acid may be used by direct application to rusted iron, steel tools, or surfaces to convert iron(III) oxide (rust) to a water-soluble phosphate compound." Well, i personally dont have any rusted Iron in my body needing of becoming a water-soluble phosphate compound, so count me out.

Now, rice, barley malt, water, hops and yeast. Rice, millions of chinese eat rice, they live to be the oldest people in the world! Barley, "According to a recent study,eating whole grain barley can regulate blood sugar for up to 10 hrs after consumption..." Water, goes without saying. Hops is grown for the use in beer mainly, so it has to be good! An yeast, we use it in all forms of bread. So it has to be good!

In conclusion, health concious or not, Budweiser tastes better and is better for you than Coca Cola!

This truly is a benefit of the Army, seriously. I woke up this morning at 3:30. WHy? Well i cant tell you yet, maybee later if i get around to it. But i am up, none the less.

The thing i notice about how early it is, i havent even received my slashdot headlines e-mail yet! Which is kind of a big deal. If you dont read slashdot and dont receive the headline emails, you should. THen tell me if you are ever up looking at your computer wishing it was up so you didnt actually have to go to the website..

2nd Christmas and Newyears. I know this sounds like every kids dream, but its mine too! Not for the presents though, they would be something that we dont give. Just have lots of time off work, a couple awesome parties, and more time off work... In the middle of the summer would be great!.

So I recently started using Google Documents, it is really great too to use. I can take notes in class on g-docs and then without any hassle access them at home. No thumb drives or disks or anything. Heck, i can even access it on DoD networks, so its more valuable than a thumb drive (Which isnt allowed on DoD networks).

But i need some help.

I am trying to post my google documents to my Vox blog, but i dont know, and havent been able to find, the API Access Url to be able to do so.

If anybody can help me on this, i would appreciate it.

I thought about putting in a help ticket to Vox, but i figured this would work better.

Ok, so it is thursday, the class is almost finished... OMG! This is the longest week ever!!!

Thus far i have gotten into trouble for sleeping 3x, arguing with the teacher 4x and being generally obnoxious 2x.

Having been in this class has given me another point of view to Sontek and Steve. When we took the A+ class in high school, my first time, they were completely bored, argumentative, and general pains in the asses to the teacher. Calling her out on every miniscule indiscrepancy. It was a bit annoying, didnt undersand at the time that if you already know something about computers, it is PAINFULLY boring and insulting to have someone try to "Teach" it to you again...

Oh well, 1.5 days left...

Ever run for office?  (School, club, organization, politics, etc.)  Did you get elected?

Yes. I was elected as the Farwell Eagle Band Drum major my sophomore and Junior year. I was voted Fresman Band Council Representitive, then the following year I was Band Council President for the following 2 years. I was elected as the SADD Vice President my Sophomore year and president my Junior Year. I was class council secretary my Sophomore year. In 8th grade history, my teacher taughed us the colonization of America by making the whole year a play of sorts and we were all Settlers, Upon winning our Revolutionary war, I was voted President 2 consecutive terms.

I have never ran for a position and not attained it. Not saying i am that good, i just know what to run for. :D
